Paul Gilbert steals the show

The much awaited G3 2007 held in Baltomore Maryland was totally a blast. Guitar fanatics from all ages swarmed the arena just to watch the event which satch organized way back in 1996. The G3 tour usually features 3 big names in the guitar industry during the first ever G3 tour Joe Satriani along with his ace student Steve vai and of course the texan guitar god Eric Johnson not to offend SRV fans (hehe!) G3 starts with each artist performing their live sets and for the finale the 3 of them jamming together i cannot forget the 96 G3 tour the awesome trio did a Hendrix classic "Red House" with eric Johnson singin with a rare view of him in his cherry burst Gibson ES-335 please do correct me for the color. Well this time around the crowd went wild for this fella the former Mr. Big shred head none other than Paul Gilbert. PG came in first with a few licks coming from old Racer X stuff plus a teaser of whats coming from this guitar virtuoso. They really went wild when PG came on stage holding a double neck ibby wowed the crowd with the fastest licks ever seen and heard.Compared to Petrucci's set which was according to other fans was kinda boring except for the kids who were into him the Satch fans were bored of course waiting for the surfer.This was the first for PG to be in the G3 tour well wow he really is half man half amazing you better go grab a copy of this if you are a guitar fanatic two thumbs up PG!!!
